My Thule

Everyone knows, I travel a lot. In this 2017 (you can click on the name of each country to see a representative photo of the trip) I have been to:

Denmark, Cape Town, Philippines, France, USA, Fuerteventura, Morocco, London, China and, right now I’m in Egypt. I will compete in the European and African Championships of Wakeboard and Wakeskate representing the Spanish team 🙂 My adventure with my Thule suitcases began in Denmark, I went to the wedding of some relatives and, incidentally, I received my bags there. My first impression was, of course, very good. The suitcases looked brutal but in my mind there was a big question: would they be able to keep up with me? Let’s see.

The first stop after the wedding was Copenhagen. I had to make time to catch my next plane and decided to go for a walk around the city. I walked for hours and hours accompanied by my Thule Subterra Luggage 70cm/28″ and… It was easy for me! Normally, when you have to drag your suitcase around the world, it is usually heavy, the arms end up dusty and you spend time fighting with the suitcase so that you do not lose your balance when going down a step. With this suitcase I had no problem, it is super stable, it rolled perfectly well on any type of surface… Also with me was my new super backpack; the Subterra Travel Backpack 34L. After several hours walking around the city together, no back pain. First test: progresses properly.

The next stop was
Paris
! I went there for another wedding just before I went to China for the Wakeboard World Cup. I had never been to Paris before and I really wanted to explore ‘the city of love’. This time I took my Thule Chasm 90L and my Subterra Travel Backpack 34L. I wanted to change suitcases to see how it would behave, in addition, for this trip I was better off taking the Chasm since it is a very flexible suitcase where I fit everything I need. I can put it inside the boardbag or take it to part… From this suitcase I love all the different ways it has to carry it, you can put it in the form of a backpack, as a shoulder bag, etc. In addition, having 90L of capacity… You can fit a lot of clothes heh, heh, heh.

China and Morocco were the next stops. That is to say, that my suitcases had been in a few airports today, which in turn means that they went through many baggage belts where they throw the suitcases to their fate and, the one that survives, survived …

DID THEY HOLD MY PACE?
We have been together the last 3 months of my life. They have come with me to the beach, to the mountain, to the ski cable, to the plane, to my house, to their house, to a lot of countries and… They are still intact!

SHOULD I GET A THULE?
300%
If you are looking for something functional, simple, elegant, that can keep up with you, that lasts!, you are looking for the right brand. The truth is that with my lifestyle, I need good suitcases and backpacks, it is not cool to have to be dragging a suitcase that falls apart or have a backpack on your back that hurts you … Thule has pleasantly surprised me and, I am more than sure that if in a year I write a blog about these backpacks again, they will continue to live and kick.
