Indie Campers

We all have that typical list (even if it’s mental) of “things to do before you die.” Well, for me one of those things is to have a van, to be able to go wherever you want whenever you want. That there is wind in unicorn-landia?, come on!, that today I want to sleep near the spot because tomorrow the good session will be in the morning?, come on!, that I have gone out to party and I do not want to drive? I don’t drive and fall asleep in the van!

Well, at the moment I have not been able to cross this point off the list but, I had the opportunity to experience what van life is like thanks to Indie Campers.

Indie what? Indie Campers is a company that… It rents you camperized vans! But, they are not just any camperized vans, they are a piece of brutal vans with an exquisite camperization. Yes, yes, as you hear it… I’m not exaggerating, I promise. You enter the website, take a look at the different vans they have, choose the one you want, pay, pick up the van and, ciao pescao! 🙂 It’s that easy, it’s that simple.

They picked me up in Malaga (they have a lot of cities to choose from) and took me to the ship where they have the vans to explain the operation and sign the contract. Diogo was in charge of teaching me how the van works, how the beds are mounted (it is not difficult but it has its trick), etc. The truth is that he explained it super fast and simple. For this adventure I chose the

“Sporty”

van because it was the one that best suited my type of trip. The idea was to be able to be as close as possible to the ski cable of Marbella since there would be the Spanish Wakeboard Championship. Although, as soon as I took the van I decided to go to Tarifa since it was the last day of west with pond … And I could not miss it!

Waking up in Tarifa

In the van they could fit and sleep up to 4 people… It was super easy to change bed to seats, had fridge, wardrobe etc. It is super spacious inside and outside it is not so huge which made it much easier to drive around the city. I leave here some photos of my experience:

The truth is that in the end I was driving between Marbella and Tarifa since Tarifa I know a little better and I know where I can park the van without problems. I’m not a big fan of driving, especially since there were times in my life when I’ve had to do a lot of kilometers but, driving this van is wonderful. Nothing heavy was done to me and, despite being quite large, it is easy to park.
I am super grateful that Indie Campers decided to support me in this adventure and I hope we can continue to collaborate in the future.

A hug,
