Second year at the Yacht Racing Forum
I returned for the second consecutive year to the Yacht Racing Forum, this time as a speaker in one of the panels on communication and media in the world of sailing. I shared a table with great references in the sector: Helen Fretter, Mark Jardine and Peter Rusch, moderated by Shirley Robertson, double Olympic medalist and one of the most recognized voices in international sailing.
It was a real honor to be with them. I still consider myself relatively new to this world – my career in professional sailing is just beginning – but I felt that I could bring a fresh, modern perspective that was connected to the new ways of communicating our sport.
My speech revolved around how athletes could and should do more in the online world to help make sailing more attractive and understandable for everyone.
Beyond the panel, the Yacht Racing Forum brings together people who experience sailing from different angles – athletes, media, organisers, brands – in a space to reflect, learn, be inspired and, of course, create new collaborations.
Thanks to Bernard Schopfer and his team for organizing this event for the fifteenth time. Congratulations on the anniversary!
See you in 2026?
