7th in the world

This past February I stopped by Buenos Aires, Argentina,to compete in the 10th Cablewakeboard World Championship. It was my first time competing in a wake world championship, they are held every 2 years and, 2 years ago I could not go for economic reasons.

I had been to Argentina before, exactly one year before and, I love it. The championship was held between February 14 and 23, 2019. As a curiosity, this was a 2018 championship that could not be done and moved to 2019, which means that next year another WorldCup should be held again.
Well, for me the championship started with the qualifying round in which I was 1st. Emotionally I was not at my best but I drew strength from not knowing very well where and ironed my round as I wanted. The next day we had rest, which was great for me since the “circuit” was very long and demanding and, the day of the seminifales arrived. I had woken up feeling good, wanting to go to the water and get into the final but, it could not be. I got into the water too nervous in the first round and in the second I was not able to calm the nerves. As they say, “I didn’t give foot with a ball”. In my semifinal round 3 girls passed and I was 4th, which puts me as

7th of the Wakeboard World Championship.

I’m left wanting more but, I guess 7th in the world is not bad either. I leave here my (not so good) round of semis:

See you in the water,
