ION WOMEN CAMP 2025

Women in power in Tarifa

The second weekend I had the opportunity to be the teacher of the first ION Women Camp in Tarifa, an exclusive kitesurfing camp for women that brought together fifteen participants from all over Spain and Portugal. It was an unforgettable experience full of learning, fun and good atmosphere. And here I come to tell you a little more about how we spent it, more than anything so that you are encouraged to come to the next one 😉

All ages and all levels

Women of different ages and levels came together to improve their kitesurfing skills and have a good time among women with professional coaching sessions. In addition, we enjoyed social media workshops to help boost their online presence and motivational coaching sessions that strengthened the confidence and mindset of all participants.

The camp began with a round of presentations that made us feel much more united and, above all, that although we seemed very different, we shared much more than we imagined.

A little bit of everything

But camp wasn’t just about sport: there was also time for fun and camaraderie, with parties and social activities that created a unique supportive and friendly atmosphere. In addition, our accommodation was a dream, we were able to enjoy the incredible facilities of DUNAS Tarifa and, the truth is that I can’t wait to return! The outside shower, what I loved most about my bungalow. In addition, we enjoy:

  • Yoga in the Dunes Tarifa
  • Morning workout with Valula Tarifa on the beach
  • Party in Tumbao at sunset
  • Dinner at the Explora
  • Self-rescue workshop with Janna from Pata Negra Kitesurf (the best school in Tarifa)

Tarifa, with its constant wind and spectacular beaches, was the perfect setting for this meeting that combined sport, personal development and women’s community.
