Foil Drive Test Day in Corralejo: An Unforgettable Experience

On February 5th, we had the pleasure of organizing a Foil Drive Test Day in the crystal-clear waters of Corralejo, Fuerteventura. This event, held in collaboration with Jet Surf Fuerteventura and the talented Gael Daniele, was a resounding success that exceeded our expectations.

We welcomed around 15 enthusiasts, many of whom had never experienced foil assist (not to be confused with electric foil) or foiling in general. The most surprising and gratifying aspect was seeing how nearly all participants managed to get up and enjoy the unique sensation of “flying” over the water.

We also express our sincere gratitude to Red Shark Fuerteventura for their generosity in lending us a Duotone board, which was essential in providing an optimal learning experience for our participants.

"It wasn't my first time foiling; I had tried different methods (like being towed by a boat), but this was by far the easiest. You only need to focus on your balance and nothing else. Without a doubt, it's the best way to learn and get started with foiling."

"I really enjoyed the Foil Drive test. First, I must highlight that the team was super professional regarding safety and care, explaining everything very well. It's certainly not easy; I've been surfing for almost 30 years and thought I would pick it up easily. But having the remote control and them regulating it is very useful, and I was able to get up. You can go full throttle without fearing the speed being too fast. Undoubtedly, it's a great help; having the Foil Drive giving you power is incredible. A super positive 10, eager to try again."

"For me, it was like trying foil for the first time. It was my first time having that sensation of being above the water, and being used to surfing, it's a completely different technique. I loved the sensation; I'll definitely try it again. Of course, I was left wanting more. It certainly helped me overcome my fear of foiling, and it was a super rewarding and beautiful experience. The team's instructions were very helpful, so I'm very grateful for the experience."
