CHICAMA FOIL CAMP

Last minute! Chicama Foil Camp 2026

Foil in the longest wave in the world?

Can you imagine spending a week foiling in Chicama, Peru—home to one of the longest and most unique waves on the planet?

This camp is designed to help you learn, improve your technique, and enjoy a complete foil experience alongside a small group of riders who share the same passion for the ocean.

We’ll have tow-foil and Foil Drive sessions, plus afternoon wingfoil sessions whenever the wind allows. Everything is included: accommodation right in front of the spot, meals, and airport transfers from Trujillo—so all you have to do is arrive, enjoy, and foil.

Next camp dates:

  • October 19–25, 2026
  • October 26–November 1, 2026

Is this camp for me?

You don’t need to be a professional. This camp is open to anyone who wants to get started in foiling safely, riders who already have a foundation and want to build confidence, and more experienced foilers looking to make the most of Chicama’s unique conditions and keep progressing.

The experience is tailored to the group’s level, with guidance both on and off the water. If you’re not sure whether your level is a good fit, message me before booking and we can go through it together.

Which sports will we be doing?

Our camp is extra special because we want you to catch more waves than ever before. That’s why we have only two riders per boat—maximising your number of waves and doubling the fun.

  • Tow foiling: 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon.

  • Foil Drive: If you prefer not to tow foil, we have High Power and Fusion batteries available.

  • Wingfoiling: Afternoon sessions when wind conditions allow. Chicama usually wakes up wind-free in the morning; if the wind comes in, it is typically in the afternoon.

Who are we?

Behind the camera is André Castañeda, a Peruvian waterman and Slingshot and Foil Drive ambassador. He’s a professional fun-haver, an expert in jet-ski rescue, videographer, and drone pilot.

In the centre is Julia Castro, from Fuerteventura: a professional waterwoman, 2018 Kitepark World Vice-Champion, international Duotone and Foil Drive team rider, and foil-obsessed since 2016.

On the left is Paulo Ríos, a three-time Peruvian national kitesurfing champion and Pacasmayo Classic champion. He brings more than 20 years of experience as a waterman and is an F-ONE ambassador.

In short, we’re the dream team for safety, logistics, drone footage, photography, video, coaching, and plenty of laughs—the support crew you need for an epic trip. Our mission is, and always will be, to look after you and make you feel like royalty on what will, you’ll see, be the best foil trip of your life.

What's included?
