{"id":9959,"date":"2021-12-23T18:48:37","date_gmt":"2021-12-23T18:48:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fuertejulia.com\/7th-in-the-world\/"},"modified":"2022-01-26T14:55:47","modified_gmt":"2022-01-26T14:55:47","slug":"7th-in-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fuertejulia.com\/en\/7th-in-the-world\/","title":{"rendered":"7th in the world"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This past <strong>February<\/strong> I stopped by Buenos Aires, <strong>Argentina,<\/strong>to compete in the <strong>10th Cablewakeboard World Championship.<\/strong> It was my first time competing in a wake world <strong>championship,<\/strong>they are held every 2 years and, 2 years ago I could not go for economic reasons.<\/p>\n<p>I had been to Argentina before, exactly one year before and, I <strong>love it.<\/strong> The championship was held between February 14 and 23, 2019. As a <strong>curiosity,<\/strong>this was a 2018 championship that could not be done and <strong>moved<\/strong> to 2019, which means that next year another <strong>World<\/strong>Cup should be held again.<br \/>\nWell, for me the championship <strong>started<\/strong> with the qualifying round in <strong>which I was 1st.<\/strong> Emotionally I was not at my best but I drew <strong>strength<\/strong> from not knowing very well where and ironed my round as <strong>I wanted.<\/strong> The next day we had rest, which was <strong>great<\/strong> for me since the &#8220;circuit&#8221; was very long and <strong>demanding<\/strong> and, the day of the seminifales arrived. I had woken up feeling <strong>good,<\/strong>wanting to go to the water and get into the final but, it could not be. I got into the water too <strong>nervous<\/strong> in the first round and in the second I was not able to calm the nerves. As they say, &#8220;I didn&#8217;t give foot with a ball&#8221;. In my semifinal round 3 <strong>girls<\/strong> passed and I was 4th, which puts me as<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>7th of the Wakeboard World Championship.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;m left wanting more but, I guess 7th in the world is not bad either.
